The firm’s smart and savvy Principal, Sarah Tricarico, has developed an impressive reputation as a criminal defence lawyer. With a full academic scholarship from the University of Melbourne, Sarah completed a Bachelor of Arts before going on to complete a Law degree at La Trobe University. She has an accreditation to practice as a solicitor in any federal court in Australia and is admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Caroline Salter joined Sarah Tricarico Lawyers as a Solicitor in October 2019. Caroline completed a Bachelor of Laws and Arts (majoring in History and Legal Studies) at La Trobe University and then completed her Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen Centre of Law, before being admitted to practice in 2016. Prior to joining our team Caroline gained a number of years’ experience as a Defence Solicitor at a specialist Criminal Law firm.
Caroline continues to provide high-quality legal advice at Sarah Tricarico Lawyers, successfully representing clients in a wide range of State and Commonwealth matters, within Victoria and across other states. Appearing regularly in both the Magistrate’s and County Court’s and instructing in Supreme and Court of Appeal matters. Caroline is a compassionate, confident and diligent Solicitor, who is highly regarded for her thorough preparation and high level of attention to detail in personal and precise legal analysis. She has a genuine passion for criminal defence law and is focused in providing quality and honest legal assistance, whilst possessing excellent advocacy skills and a commitment to endeavouring to assist each client in striving for justice.
Catherine Weaver joined Sarah Tricarico Lawyers as the Practice Manager in January 2020 and has over 6 years experience in criminal defence administration, assisting in criminal matters in all Victorian and interstate jurisdictions.
Since joining Sarah Tricarico Lawyers, Catherine has established herself as a valuable asset to the firm, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with high profile criminal matters.
Catherine’s duties involve managing the day-to-day operations of the firm and liaising directly with all relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to clients, court staff, barristers and health professionals. Her keen eye for detail and passion for organisation is unmatched and ensures the smooth running of the firm in providing an excellent service to clients with pending criminal matters
